Press release: New partnership for future-oriented school and educational construction projects: Salooning Green Future ApS / Cubus Medien Verlag GmbH announce cooperation with the German-Danish Chamber of Commerce - pilot project in Copenhagen in June

Copenhagen/Hamburg, January 13, 2025 – The Danish company Salooning Green Future ApS and the German Cubus Medien Verlag GmbH (SCHULBAU fairs) have entered into a strategic partnership with the Danish-German Chamber of Commerce. Already in June, they will launch their first joint project: The International SCHULBAU Festival in Copenhagen. Together, the partners will promote innovative projects in school and educational building construction and strengthen Danish-German cooperation.

Salooning Green Future ApS has established itself as an innovative driving force in environmentally conscious construction projects and offers comprehensive consulting and networking services. With expertise in future building materials and technologies, the company sets new standards for sustainable construction.

Cubus Medien Verlag GmbH complements this expertise with its many years of experience in architectural communication. Through the professional magazines SCHULBAU and fassadentechnik, as well as international SCHULBAU events and fairs, the publishing house creates platforms for knowledge sharing and networking.

The partnership with the Danish-German Chamber of Commerce marks an important step in the development of educational building construction. The goal is to develop innovative solutions that both meet today’s needs for educational infrastructure and at the same time create long-term value. Through a combination of expertise, networking, and joint initiatives, the partners aim to set new standards and establish a model for similar collaborations.

“Germany and Denmark face similar challenges when it comes to developing modern educational facilities. Our collaboration with the Danish-German Chamber of Commerce will serve as a catalyst for groundbreaking strategies and projects,” emphasizes Kirsten Jung, founder and CEO of Salooning Green Future ApS and Cubus Medien Verlag GmbH.

First joint project: International SCHULBAU Festival in Copenhagen

The first joint initiative is already planned: On June 3, 2025, the International SCHULBAU Festival will be held in Copenhagen, where the Danish-German Chamber of Commerce will play an active role. Andreas Wenzel, Director of the Chamber, will officially open the event together with Lasse Peter Rodewald, Head of the Culture and Press Department at the German Embassy in Copenhagen, as well as Kirsten Jung.

The festival will focus on exchanging practical solutions and best practices from both countries and creating connections between stakeholders from the construction industry, politics, and research.

Key themes will include:

Transformation of public buildings, churches, and heritage-listed buildings

Educational infrastructure and future learning environments

Urban development and circular economy in construction

The international support from both private and public investors, including from Germany and Luxembourg, adds further weight to the festival. Additionally, prominent figures such as Jens Kramer Mikkelsen, former Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, and Jan Gehl, the world-renowned architect and urban planner, will contribute inspiring presentations that open new perspectives for the development of future urban spaces.
