DESCRIPTION:Get tickets\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				The SCHULBAU Salon & Messe in the capital will be the crowning finale from 27 to 28 November. New construction\, refurbishment\, remodelling or expansion are key instruments of the Berlin School Construction Offensive (BSO). This will significantly improve the city’s school infrastructure and create sufficient school places in the capital city of Berlin. \nThe Berlin school construction offensive is the largest investment project in the capital in the last and current legislative period. The aim is to further reduce the backlog of school renovations and build new schools for the growing city. With the start of the school construction campaign in 2016\, the goal was set to invest more than 550 million euros per year in Berlin schools in the medium term. Since 2016\, spending has risen continuously and since 2021\, the sub-target has been achieved with spending of over 654 million euros. \nIn summer 2021\, the Senate decided to provide as much as 700 million euros per year for school construction and maintenance in the future.
